Understand the patterns. Make sense of what’s underneath. Find a way forward.

You can know exactly what you want to do and still find yourself repeating the same patterns. Anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, over-functioning, and burnout often make more sense when we get curious about what’s underneath them—not just how to make them stop.

Here, I share insights about women’s mental health, relationships, midlife transitions, neurodivergence, chronic illness, and the patterns that can leave capable women feeling exhausted, disconnected, or wondering why the tools that once helped aren’t working anymore.

I’m Cindy Lineberger, LCSW, a therapist for women in Hickory, NC, providing in-person therapy in Hickory and online throughout North Carolina. My approach draws from IFS-informed, somatic, ACT, Brainspotting, and other integrative approaches to help women make sense of what they’re experiencing and find a way forward that fits who they are—an who they are becoming!
