Women’s Mental Health Blog | Hickory, NC

Understand the patterns. Make sense of what’s underneath. Find a way forward.

You can know exactly what you want to do and still find yourself repeating the same patterns. Anxiety and perfectionism, burnout and overfunctioning, and relationships and people-pleasing often make more sense when we get curious about what’s underneath them—not just how to make them stop.

Here, I share insights about women’s mental health, relationships, midlife transitions, neurodivergence, chronic illness, and the patterns that can leave capable women feeling exhausted, disconnected, or wondering why the tools that once helped aren’t working anymore.

I’m Cindy Lineberger, LCSW. I am a seasoned therapist for women in Hickory, NC and online across North Carolina. My approach draws from decades of clinical experience and advanced training. It is also shaped by my own lived recovery from over-functioning as a neurodivergent woman navigating midlife transitions. Learn more about me or my approach here.

This unique lens allows me to integrate the best of brain-body-relational frameworks. I help women make sense of what they are experiencing. Together, we find a way forward that fits who they are—and who they are becoming.

Here, I share raw, grounded perspective directly from the therapy room. Welcome!
